Our pricing is based on a "Shipping Fee Included" condition, meaning the actual international shipping cost to deliver the product to you is initially covered by the seller. Due to the high costs associated with international freight, our return policy is as follows:

Return Shipping Cost: The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. All returns must be sent prepaid.

Refund Deduction Warning: Your final refund will be the original purchase price minus the actual international shipping cost that the seller initially incurred to send the item to you.

The development of NACAROAD started with the question of an automotive lamp engineer. In particular, the headlight of a road bike, which travels at high speeds on roads, must illuminate farther and wider at night without dazzling the driver of oncoming vehicles. NACAROAD applied projection lens technology used in automobile headlights to achieve precise cut-off lines, a 72m irradiation distance, and a visibility of 52° at the level of automotive lights. Additionally, NACAROAD's aerodynamic lens design achieved a drag coefficient of 0.267, maximizing the road bike's performance.

Precautions

After installation, check that the NACA ROAD does not rotate under load.
Make sure that the headlight is not covered by a bag or similar when driving.
Do not make any independent modifications to the product. Do not attempt to open the product.

If the headlight fails, it must in any case be sent to the importer for repair or replaced completely.

Assembly

Install on GoPro Mount. (Mount not included)
Install it tilted 0.7 degrees below horizontal.
Attaching a bike computer or anti-glare shield will make it easier on your eyes.

Charge state

During charging, the battery status indicator flashes green and turns off when charging is completed. Should the product become excessively hot during charging, disconnect the charger. Never charge the battery when the USB port is wet. The NACA Road can be charged during use.

FAQ

Lumen is the unit used to determine the luminous flux and provides information about the total light emitted without considering its spread – e.g. spot or wide area. Lux, on the other hand, defines the illuminance at the brightest point, measured perpendicular to the road, at a distance of 10 metres. As with lumens, this value does not indicate how large the actually illuminated area appears. Depending on the test scenario, there may be further deviations, making a direct comparison of products based on lumen/lux values not very useful.

In real conditions, NACA Road thus shines brighter than other headlights despite comparatively lower lumen/lux values, as NACA Road sets new benchmarks in distance and width of the light carpet thanks to the advanced lens system.

There are four brightness levels: City, Touring, Sport and Max Power.

NACA Road is charged via USB-C cable ( power adapter or power bank). A full charge takes 2.7 to 3 hours. The battery can be charged at the same time as using the device. Depending on the level set, the battery life is more than 7 hours.

NACA Road can be installed with any GoPro mount, e.g. below a bike computer (Garmin/Wahoo). Due to different designs of cockpits and individual requirements, there is no mount in the box.

On a straight track, even in the distance, the cut-off line should still be visible on the road. The beam angle can be freely adjusted on a GoPro mount.
